Terms & Conditions

Services

Lact With Love provides private lactation consulting (IBCLC), infant sleep guidance, and postnatal support services. Care is evidence-based, collaborative, and tailored to each family’s unique circumstances.

Services provided are educational and supportive in nature and do not replace medical care. Diagnosis and medical treatment remain the responsibility of your GP, paediatrician, or relevant health professional. Referral to other providers may be recommended where appropriate.

Fees & Payments

  • Consultation fees are outlined at the time of booking.

  • Payment is due on the day of consultation unless otherwise arranged.

  • Packages must be paid in full prior to commencement.

  • Written reports (if requested beyond standard summaries) may incur an additional fee.

Private health rebates may be available depending on your provider and level of cover.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

To honour the time reserved for your family:

  • 48+ hours’ notice – no fee

  • 24–48 hours’ notice – 50% of consultation fee

  • Less than 24 hours’ notice or non-attendance – 100% of consultation fee

Travel fees (if applicable) are non-refundable once travel has commenced.

If Lact With Love needs to reschedule due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered the earliest alternative appointment.

Travel Fees

  • Home visits within 10km of Caulfield North are included.

  • Beyond 10km, a flat $25 travel fee applies.

  • Travel outside 25km may incur an additional fee, confirmed prior to booking.

Travel fees are confirmed prior to your appointment.

Communication & Follow up

  • Reasonable follow-up support is included as outlined at the time of booking. Ongoing or extended support beyond the included period may require a further consultation booking.

  • Communication is conducted during business hours unless otherwise agreed.

Information Sharing

With your consent, relevant information may be shared with healthcare providers involved in your care to support collaborative, safe, and consistent support.

Information will only be shared when beneficial and appropriate, or if required by law

Limitation of Liability

All recommendations are provided in good faith and based on the information shared during consultation. Outcomes may vary due to the individual nature of breastfeeding, sleep, and infant development.

Lact With Love is not liable for outcomes arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by clients.

Acceptance

By booking a consultation, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
